Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Retreats

Mindfulness is a meditative or contemplative intervention that has been used for thousands of years to address a plethora of health issues such as anxiety, depression, despair, as well as numerous physical and physiological conditions, including high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, low back pain, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was a pioneering program which introduced into Western medicine by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., in 1997 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where Dr. Carlo-Casellas took his training in MBSR.
